Friendship-Do you really value it?
Judgment - a good friend is rarely judgmental. We can be open in our behavior with our good friends because we know that they will not judge us. We can enjoy this freedom only with friends. It is nothing short of a blessing, because with other people our actions and behavior are always calculated and guarded and that takes away lot of pleasure from our life.
Share Sorrow and losses - A friend can be depended upon to share all our problems and sorrows. This sharing may not reduce the impact of loss but helps us to unburden ourselves. This is no small gift of friendship. Once I saw the image of a man left alone in the village after an earthquake. The whole villages got killed except this man. With who, will this man share his sorrow? A friend gives us this gift.
Hope - During our times of trouble, only a friend comes forward and gives us encouragement and hope. With that inspiration one begins afresh. At times in life when we feel totally devastated and hopeless, and when our self-esteem reaches a big low, a friend helps us regain confidence in ourselves

valentines day kissing tips
The best course of action to take sometimes isn't clear until you've listed and considered your alternatives. The following paragraphs should help clue you in to what the experts think is significant.
Once you begin to move beyond basic background information, you begin to realize that there's more to kiss than you may have first thought.
popsicle kiss
Eat popsicles together - each a different flavor - and then halfway through, switch and finish off each other's popsicle. Afterwards, give your love a long, passionate kiss. Your cold tongue will wake them up!! :)

Prelude to a Kiss
This will have them begging! While they're watching, moisten one finger on your toungue. Then, wet their bottom lip. Repeat on the top lip. Finallly, do it really good, and then rub their tongue. By this time He/She will be beggin' for a kiss. So give them what they're begging for!

Tongue Play kiss
When kissing I like to use my tongue to the greatest effect. So during the passionate moment whilst the two tongues are intertwined I like to lick the roof of the other person's mouth. It is a funny but pleasurable occasion and will make sure that they keep coming back for more and more!

Ring-Around-The-Rosey kiss
Softly make circles with the tip of your tongue around the inner fleshy part of your partner's lips. It creates a mesmerizing, ticklish effect. Then enter forcefully for the big, full-tongued french kiss once you've got them totally under your spell.

A red rose for you!
valentines day poem-my valentine
If you were my valentine
If you were my valentine
I’d search the endless skies
to find the perfect starlight
that would compliment your eyes
and keep it in a wishing well
created just for you
and filled with my desires
to make all your dreams come true
if you were my valentine
I’d find the softest rose
to gently brush against
those sweetest lips, the angels chose
my heart is like a flower
craving for your morning kiss
mere words cannot pay homage
to a passion such as this.
if you were my valentine
I’d treasure every day
the arms that open to me
and the tender words you say
I can’t imagine dreaming
of another soul so sweet
for, if your were my valentine
my life would be complete...

valentines day gift ideas
* Body language is the main source of giving the hint or understanding what he or she has in mind. So, notice if the person stares at you or the eyeballs gets dilated, frequently smile or does not make a eye contact while talking to you.
* Those who are the outgoing ones may do a bit more like licking of lips in front of the person they like or tilt the head to make sideways glances to send out the signals.
* If you find that the person is asking your whereabouts to your friends or is very much trying to follow you in words or gesture, then it would be clear indication he or she is interested.
* There are some other gestures like women often do twirling of hair or crossing or uncrossing of legs, men thrust their shoulders back and chest outward or make comments about their jobs, position etc.
If you are getting all these positive signs, then don't hesitate to ask your new love of going out together. Just ask her out. Even if you are a girl, don't wait for the guy making the first step.
While going out together, you can buy any of the valentines day gift mentioned below. These are some nice valentines day gift ideas by that you can give a pleasant surprise to your dear valentine and say "I love You".

Love poem by Charles C. Finn
Please Hear What I'm Not Saying
Don't be fooled by me.
Don't be fooled by the face I wear for I wear a mask,
a thousand masks,
masks that I'm afraid to take off,
and none of them is me.
Pretending is an art that's second nature with me,
but don't be fooled, for God's sake don't be fooled.
I give you the impression that I'm secure,
that all is sunny and unruffled with me,
within as well as without,
that confidence is my name and coolness my game,
that the water's calm and I'm in command and that I need no one,
but don't believe me.
My surface may seem smooth but my surface is my mask,
ever-varying and ever-concealing.
Beneath lies no complacence.
Beneath lies confusion, and fear, and aloneness.
But I hide this.
I don't want anybody to know it.
I panic at the thought of my weakness exposed.
That's why I frantically create a mask to hide behind,
a nonchalant sophisticated facade,
to help me pretend,
to shield me from the glance that knows.
But such a glance is precisely my salvation,
my only hope, and I know it.
That is, if it's followed by acceptance,
if it's followed by love.
It's the only thing that can liberate me from myself,
from my own self-built prison walls,
from the barriers I so painstakingly erect.
It's the only thing that will assure me of what I can't assure myself,
that I'm really worth something.
But I don't tell you this.
I don't dare to, I'm afraid to.
I'm afraid your glance will not be followed by acceptance,
will not be followed by love.
I'm afraid you'll think less of me,
that you'll laugh, and your laugh would kill me.
I'm afraid that deep-down I'm nothing
and that you will see this and reject me.
So I play my game, my desperate pretending game,
with a facade of assurance without and a trembling child within.
So begins the glittering but empty parade of masks,
and my life becomes a front.
I tell you everything that's really nothing,
and nothing of what's everything,
of what's crying within me.
So when I'm going through my routine
do not be fooled by what I'm saying.
Please listen carefully and try to hear what I'm not saying,
what I'd like to be able to say,
what for survival I need to say,
but what I can't say.
I don't like hiding.
I don't like playing superficial phony games.
I want to stop playing them.
I want to be genuine and spontaneous and me
but you've got to help me.
You've got to hold out your hand
even when that's the last thing I seem to want.
Only you can wipe away from my eyes
the blank stare of the breathing dead.
Only you can call me into aliveness.
Each time you're kind, and gentle, and encouraging,
each time you try to understand because you really care,
my heart begins to grow wings--
very small wings,
very feeble wings,
but wings!
With your power to touch me into feeling
you can breathe life into me.
I want you to know that.
I want you to know how important you are to me,
how you can be a creator--an honest-to-God creator--
of the person that is me if you choose to.
You alone can break down the wall behind which I tremble,
you alone can remove my mask,
you alone can release me from my shadow-world of panic,
from my lonely prison,
if you choose to.
Please choose to.
Do not pass me by.
It will not be easy for you.
A long conviction of worthlessness builds strong walls.
The nearer you approach to me the blinder I may strike back.
It's irrational, but despite what the books say about man
often I am irrational.
I fight against the very thing I cry out for.
But I am told that love is stronger than strong walls
and in this lies my hope.
Please try to beat down those walls
with firm hands but with gentle hands
for a child is very sensitive.
Who am I, you may wonder?
I am someone you know very well.
For I am every man you meet
and I am every woman you meet.
~ Charles C. Finn, September 1966
love poem by Tyler Dohrn
What Is There,
To Believe In During Life,
Nothing Lasts,
Aside From Strife,
Life May Perish,
Life May End,
Our Soul We May Give,
Our Soul We May Spend,
But Our Love,
That Eternal Flame,
Will Never Dim,
Will Never Change,
It Will Forever Last,
When All Other Lights Leave,
For You Light My Life,
You Make Me Believe.

valentines day history
When most people think of Valentines Day History, what comes to mind is usually basic information that's not particularly interesting or beneficial. But there's a lot more to Valentines Day History than just the basics.
Truthfully, the only difference between you and Valentines-Day-History experts is time. If you'll invest a little more time in reading, you'll be that much nearer to expert status when it comes to Valentines Day History.
Every February, across the country, candy, flowers, and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. One legend contends that Valentine was a priest who served during the third century in Rome. When Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men -- his crop of potential soldiers. Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine's actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.
Other stories suggest that Valentine may have been killed for attempting to help Christians escape harsh Roman prisons where they were often beaten and tortured.
According to one legend, Valentine actually sent the first 'valentine' greeting himself. While in prison, it is believed that Valentine fell in love with a young girl -- who may have been his jailor's daughter -- who visited him during his confinement. Before his death, it is alleged that he wrote her a letter, which he signed 'From your Valentine,' an expression that is still in use today. Although the truth behind the Valentine legends is murky, the stories certainly emphasize his appeal as a sympathetic, heroic, and, most importantly, romantic figure. It's no surprise that by the Middle Ages, Valentine was one of the most popular saints in England and France.
Those who only know one or two facts about Valentines Day History can be confused by misleading information. The best way to help those who are misled is to gently correct them with the truths you're learning here.
